Textwarden accepts domains, URLs and sitemaps and may scan all publicly accessible pages found within the submitted scope. Public website content can contain personal data.
We store only findings and relevant text snippets, rather than complete copies of webpages. Findings and snippets are retained for no more than 90 days.
We may use retained snippets to troubleshoot, evaluate and improve Textwarden, including our own text-analysis models and validation methods. When snippets are used for these purposes, they are separated from the customer account, domain and URL.
External language-processing and text-analysis providers may process relevant website text where necessary to provide the service. They are not permitted to use this content to train or improve their own models.
When Textwarden processes personal data found on a website at a customer’s instruction, the customer generally determines the purpose and scope of the scan. Textwarden then acts as a processor under the data-processing provisions included in our service terms.
You can delete findings and snippets from your account. Deleted information is removed from active systems without undue delay and may remain in backups for up to 14 days.

Payments are handled by Mollie. Mollie processes the payment information needed to complete and administer your payment under its own privacy policy.
Transactional emails are sent through AhaSend. We may record whether these emails are delivered, opened or clicked to monitor delivery and improve our service communications.
Textwarden uses only functional cookies and similar browser storage required for matters such as login sessions, security and remembering preferences.
We do not use advertising cookies or cookies intended to track visitors across unrelated websites. Disabling functional cookies may prevent parts of Textwarden from working correctly.
Textwarden uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access restrictions and measures intended to prevent unauthorised access or misuse.
